テレビでしったのですが、村上春樹がエルサレム賞のスピーチで。
どっかに翻訳とか原文ないかなあと探しまわって発見(ソースは一番下で)。

I chose to speak here rather than say nothing.

うーん、たまりません。
彼は市民ランナー、トライアスリートでもあるわけですが、小説を書いたり考える事と自分の身体感覚をとても密接にとらえてる人みたいです。本を書いたり考える事と日常生活で走る事が密接にリンクしてるようです。

主義主張にはいろいろな立場から意見/異見があるとおもいますが、あの場で話すということが格好良すぎです。
前日に中川前大臣の醜態が世界にさらされただけに余計に引き立ちます。
